Working with children, adolescents, teens/young adults, and their families is my passion. Navigating childhood and adolescence is no easy task. Today children face many obstacles: family dynamics, peer relations, self esteem, anxiety, perfectionism, and all of the hurdles that come in living in today's world. Children, adolescents, and teens need a healthy emotional and psychological outlet as they navigate the world. Most parents desire that their children grow up and become contributing members to society. Counseling is a way to help guide and assist children and their parents through life's challenges.
Mrs. Sapp has served children and teens in Central Alabama for over a decade. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Board Certified Counselor. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Master's degree in Community Agency Counseling from the University of Montevallo. Her previous work experience includes serving teens in a home facility, operating as a contractual counselor with DHR, and working as a professional school counselor.
