 My name is Anne Sherman, and I am currently a Masters level Counseling Intern counselor at ACA. I'm pursuing my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Montevallo University. 

My academic journey started at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where I majored in Psychology and minored in Social Work. I am extremely passionate about counseling children and allowing them a space to be a child and work through the difficulties they experience. I gained clinical experience at a child advocacy center and worked with children who experienced physical and sexual abuse.

Anne utilizes Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Anne provides Faith Based Therapy upon request.
