Mandy Ivy is a dedicated Associate Licensed Counselor (ALC) with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s in Psychology, paired with a Minor in Human Growth and Development, from the University of Alabama. Passionate about helping children and adolescents thrive, Mandy specializes in supporting young individuals facing Anxiety, Depression, Autism, Asperger's, and Early Childhood Development challenges. She also has experience working with "at-risk" youth, including those who have endured abuse, neglect, abandonment, or foster care.
Additionally, Mandy provides compassionate guidance for families navigating divorce and blended family dynamics, fostering resilience and connection during times of change. Her approach integrates evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Play Therapy techniques, ensuring each client receives personalized care. Many also offers faith-based counseling upon request.
Mandy’s mission is to create a safe, supportive environment where children, teens, and families feel empowered to grow and overcome life’s challenges. Her empathetic nature, combined with her clinical expertise, allows her to build meaningful connections that promote healing and personal development.
