Mandy Ivy is an ALC with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Minor in Human Growth and Development. Mandy is passionate about working with children and adolescents. She has experience in working with Anxiety, Depression, Autism, Asperger's and Early Childhood Development. She also has experience working with "at risk" youth who have suffered abuse, neglect, abandonment and foster care.
Mandy utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical, Behavioral Therapy, Brief Solution Focused Therapy,Motivational Interviewing and utilizes Play Therapy Techniques in her sessions. Mandy offers faith based counseling when requested.
In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her dogs, read mystery books, and hang out with friends and family.
